Status of caps

Status Feb. 28, 2023:

That new cap, turned out not to be so great after all.
In mid-November 2022, we switched to a new "standard" cap. With the reason; the complaints from our sauce fans on our updated Oliehoorn cap. The expectation with this switch, was that this standard twist cap would seamlessly fit the needs of our sauce fans. But we heard you: this new cap needs some extra love.

This is how we see past, "the cap breaks off.
Not only that cap, but our Oliehoorn heart breaks from this. Your feedback is immensely valuable and certainly does not pass us by!

What steps are we taking now?

At Oliehoorn , quality comes first, and so does the quality of our packaging. We believe it is important to keep innovating and that, unfortunately, sometimes involves 'beauty mistakes'. We take your feedback extremely seriously and are working on a solution. This is how we do it:

We will keep you updated on the latest developments and would like to thank you very much for all the feedback and cooperation in this testing phase!

Would you like to let us know anything else about the caps or are there other topics you think are important or fun to share with us. We'd love to hear from you.

Status November 2, 2022:

There is a new cap and from several tests it appears; it is top notch!

After going through the testing phase mentioned above, we can finally report that the new cap is here. Positive feedback from various test phases with professional users and consumers has ensured that the mold has now been definitively modified.

Apart from improvements on opening and overall sturdiness, this new cap also has a recyclable membrane. This allows you to dose perfectly, without spilling and the cap stays nice and clean. They will be delivered to professional users in mid-November. From then on, they will also be on the shelves of your supermarket and, soon after, hopefully on your table!

Thanks again for your feedback and participation in the testing phase!

And feel free to let us know if you would like to provide feedback on the new cap or other things you find fun and/or important to share with us.

Team Oliehoorn
