Grilled pork chops with fries, salad and Brander Mayonnaise
Ingredients
For about 4 people
4 pork chops
salt flakes and freshly ground pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
Optional: fresh herbs such as thyme, rosemary or oregano
Oliehoorn Brander Mayonnaise
For side dishes:
mixed leafy vegetables
sun-dried tomatoes
snack cucumber,
thinly sliced red onion
olive oil
balsamic vinegar
Frying pan with frying oil or Airfryer
A bag of fries
Here's how to make it
Preheat the grill over medium-high heat.
Sprinkle the chops on both sides with salt and pepper.
Mix the olive oil with the chopped garlic and any fresh herbs of your choice. Brush the chops on both sides with the oil mixture.
Grill the chops for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked and have a nice grill pattern. The exact grilling time may vary depending on the thickness of the chops and the heat of the grill.
Remove the chops from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Fry the French fries in the deep fryer or Airfryer.
Make a simple salad with the mixed leafy vegetables, sun-dried tomatoes, cucumber and red onion. Drizzle with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Serve the grilled pork chops with the fries and salad, and of course Oliehoorn Brander Mayonnaise.
